This Midtown Manhattan office suite houses five small financial services companies. These firms work independently as well as collaboratively, so the design for the full-floor office balances privacy and openness.

Drawing on the history of modern design, rich materials like walnut wall paneling, dark terrazzo, leather hand pulls, and sheer wool draperies lend the space a residential feel and serve as a refined setting for the group’s art and vintage design collection.

Off the elevator banks, visitors encounter a sinuously curved wall with an off-center reception desk and a seating area. Glass-enclosed private offices and meeting rooms line the perimeter of the floor. The offices have a custom integrated storage wall and desk unit and a storage window seat. Small open office clusters can be subdivided with sliding glass doors for privacy and security.

Eight different meeting rooms, including a traditional conference room, a library, and a lounge, offer a variety of collaborative work spaces that accommodate different work styles. A corner lounge is outfitted with a communal table, booths, and bar stools at the large island.
