Jenna Ritz

Jenna believes that the most meaningful buildings are not only beautiful, but deeply supportive of the people who experience them. Her upbringing in California, along with a background as an elite tennis player, shaped a lasting interest in the relationship between environment, well-being, and design. Drawn to spaces that engage the senses, connect people to nature, and make everyday rituals feel more intentional, she brings a wellness-informed perspective to design at every scale. “I’m inspired by the way daily design decisions, from material selection to daylighting strategies, can shape how we feel, live, and move through the world.”

Since joining TenBerke in 2013, Jenna has contributed to a range of project typologies. Over time, she developed a passion for private residential work, where she collaborates closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to translate personal ways of living into thoughtful, enduring, and deeply considered spaces. As an Associate and co-leader of the firm’s Sustainability Team, Jenna brings expertise in sustainability, healthy materials, and human-centered design, helping advance TenBerke’s commitment to architecture that supports both environmental responsibility and human well-being. She is an AIA member, WELL AP and WELL Faculty member, and she received her B.A. and M.Arch from Yale University.
