TenBerke, in partnership with Mahlum Architects, has been awarded the design of a new residential building at the University of Washington in Seattle. Located in the northeast corner of campus, Haggett Hall, an approximately 200,000-square-foot, 800-bed residence hall, will be a critical piece in UW’s decade-long initiative to reinforce and add to North Campus’ vibrant residential neighborhood. The project will be TenBerke’s first on the West Coast.
In May 2023, the team kicked off the beginning of a robust student engagement process. The new residence will be delivered through an integrated design-build process with Andersen Construction as the contractor. Construction is targeting a minimum of LEED Gold certification and completion in 2027.
